Corey’s Fears for Slipknot shows.

Corey Taylor has been speaking out in the last week about how much he is fearing the first Slipknot shows since the tragic loss of best friend and integral band mate, Paul Gray, nigh on a year ago. It is only understandable that he is apprehensive, but I know he has nothing to worry about – it will be difficult to be on that stage for them, but hopefully the fans will be able to play their part, and encourage them to put on a fitting tribute to their late brother.

It will be tough for all in attendance, but it will be the best way to send him off in style, and that is what Paul himself would have wanted. The fans have so much respect for the rest of Slipknot for doing these shows, and although a new album may never materialise, it is enough for the fans just to see them in the live environment once more.

Undoubtedly their set at Knebworth this summer will be one of the most anticipated shows of all time, and the fans will be out in force encouraging them every step of the way, and I am sure they will welcome stand in bassist, the bands long time friend Donnie Steele, with open arms.
