Mimi Soya

I am planning on doing a “Spotlight” feature on (new) British music at some point shortly, but in the meantime, I wanted to post the video below, from one up and coming Brighton based band, Mimi Soya.

Going through a change of lead singer can often be the ‘poisoned chalice’ for a band, but these guys have got better, since new vocalist Jorja was recruited in place of the departing Hero.

I saw these guys (with their old singer) back when they supported Cobra Starship in 2009, and they were really good. I am sure that they have only got better since then, and it would be nice to see them get some more exposure. Hopefully they will continue to grow and improve, and will be making waves in the scene soon . . .
