Festival Announcements

Friday 1st April

A couple of solid festival announcements have been announced today.

Glassjaw have been added to the Reading and Leeds festivals at the end of August, playing the Radio1/NME tent, in what is sure to be a mammoth set. It is likely to “go off” for them when they play in there, that much you can count on.

Hevy have also added a number of bands, to go with those that had already been announced. Hevy is shaping up just nicely, and that poster is bloody amazing (right).

New additions include Four Year Strong (headlining Sunday), Funeral For A Friend, The Ghost Of A Thousand (last ever show), The Carrier, Strife, Stick To Your Guns, Gold Kids, All Teeth, Heart Of A Coward, The First, Brotherhood of the Lake, Former Thieves, and Loose Cannons.

Previously announced were The Dillinger Escape Plan (headlining Saturday), Architects, We Are The Ocean, Your Demise, Bouncing Souls, Zebrahead, Capdown, Ceremony, Polar Bear Club, Rise To Remain, Touche Amore, La Dispute, November Coming Fire, Awaken Demons, Rot In Hell, Spycatcher, Brutality Will Prevail, Man Overboard, Lemuria, Death Is Not Glamourous, Cheap Girls, Polar, Heart In Hand, Hang The Bastard (great name!), and Hildamay.

Some bands I have never heard of on there for sure, but plenty of them I do know of and would go and watch.
