The music world lost another icon this morning, after saxophonist Clarence "The Big Man" ViClemons died at the age of 69, a week after suffering a stroke. He was reported to be recovering from his stroke early in the week, but he died this morning, Sunday 19th June 2011.
A highly respected and revered member of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, he has recently appeared on the latest Lady Gaga record, even making an appearance in her video for The Edge Of Glory, which was only released this past week.
He will be sorely missed.
