The second season of the hit show Glee came to an end last week, as the show choir took to the stage at the National competition. Coming in 12th was unexpected, but they had to lose really, to be able to justify a third season. Having lost in the finale of season 1 and 2, surely they will have to win at long last next time out, as the third season finale is likely to tie in with the casts graduation (and probably a number of spin offs, should the original cast be deemed surplus to requirements).
The last episode did have another great original song in it too.
Although it was a good season, it was the inevitable “Bandslam ending” that I would always want to avoid where possible. Everything was set up for them to win, but for the longevity of the programme, they had to fall at the final hurdle.
Will be interesting to see where it goes in season three, already confirmed, having been
taken onto Sky programming, after two years on E4/Channel 4.
The live tour also rolled onto our shores last week, hitting up Manchester and London.
