Jason DeRulo holds firm at the top of the single chart, while Beyonce has the highest new entry, at number 3 with Best Thing I Never Had. Coldplay, buoyed by the clear “Glastonbury effect” on this weeks chart, see their latest single, Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall re-enter the chart at number 10.
Over on the album chart, Beyonce, still flying high after headlining the Sunday night of Glastonbury, sees her new record “4” sail straight to the top spot. The only other new entries to the top 10 are Biffy Clyro (Revolutions / Live at Wembley) and Kaiser Chiefs (The Future Is Medieval) enter at numbers 9 and 10 respectively.
In the States, there is no change at the mo, but I don’t think it gets updated until later in the week. Jill Scott (album) and Pitbull (single) are still at the peak over that side of the Atlantic.
