Another week, and Adele still reigns supreme on top of both the UK singles and album charts. That is now 4 weeks at number one for Someone Like You, and a mammoth 7 weeks in a row for the album 21. Astonishing.
The only real movement of notice was the entry at number 5 for Wiz Khalifa’s Black and Yellow into the singles chart. A massive record, and former number one in America, it has finally made the splash in the UK, and will undoubtedly rise over the next few weeks.
Will it be able to take the top spot from Adele? It could do, but to be fair, it is going to have to do well to halt Adele’s chart domination.
